In 2027, The International School of Temple Arts will be hosting its transformative Level 1 Spiritual Sexual Shamanic Experience residential retreat at one of the world’s most majestic destinations: Lake Atitlán, Guatemala.
From April 4-10th, ISTA Guatemala level 1 will take place at our luxurious and eco-friendly resort, located on the shores of the lake, surrounded by three breathtaking volcanoes.
This magical location, combined with a dynamic team of facilitators: Ashisha, Liz Morris and Aaron Mandelbaum, it promises to deliver a powerful and life-changing experience for those that are ready to step into their power.
This life-changing weeklong will be held by the Atitlan Lake, on Kaqchikel Mayan land. We are grateful to have hosted over 15 years of ISTA trainings at Lake Atitlan, and to have received deep support from the land and community over the years.
About The Facilitators
ASHISHA
Ashisha has been learning and thriving through images and imagination all her life, which took her to careers in theater, journalism and filmmaking, a wild ride through uncountable versions of personal life and creative reality on this planet.
To support souls to awaken to their eternal core fire has become her primary calling in life. Her gaze is pointed towards the expression of the subtle essence we hold within, to unlock that unique gift and support it to manifest in life with love, power and grace, aligned with the greater whole of this planet.
Arpana Ashish is cultivating and teaching ancient tools for awakening the imagination of the soul into sound, form and life force by using mythology and archetypal images, alchemical methods, meditation and embodiment for creative transformation. Her sessions, trainings and ceremonies support people worldwide in dreaming their future into existence.
Liz Morris
Liz's greatest passions: shamanism, dance, movement and embodiment are what brought her to ISTA. Her work and mission is in liberating the soul by embracing the neat and tidy aspects of being human as well as the dirty, sticky parts. She enjoys holding point for transformations of the individual through sexuality, ecstatic dance and emotional release.
She currently works giving private sessions in Embodiment Coaching and Tantric Massage. She leads Shamanic Journey Dance, Mystical Dance and Conscious sexuality classes. She is mentored by Crystal Dawn Morris.
Aaron Mandelbaum
Aaron's journey through philosophy, transformation, and shamanism began in the late 1900s, weaving a tapestry of wisdom and insight. With a BA in Philosophy, focusing on ontology, death, and sexual ethics, and a master's degree in business strategy, his academic pursuits continue to inform his current pursuits.
Aaron's experience spans somatic trauma methodologies, psychology (cognition, brain, & behavior, and aesthetics), shamanism, transformational coaching, therapeutic kink, temple arts, and ritual design/facilitation. In addition, he is a Taurus and a Projector. Calm, grounded, patient, and turned on by finding the smartest, most efficient way forward. This translates to peace, a feeling of being held, unexpected profitability, and fun for clients and participants.
