Mystical Lake Atitlan Retreat / Cat Koo

Join us on a deeply healing yoga retreat in Guatemala. Lago Atitlan is a very special and high-vibrational energy lake that is flanked by three volcanoes and is considered a sacred place for the local Mayans.

Discover the magical and miraculous, the wonders of nature, and connect to your true Self. These retreats create deep and lasting connections to other people. Your perspective will shift to be able to focus on the beauty of the world when we return.

We will learn about Mayan culture and have the opportunity to participate in Mayan Fire Ceremonies, Temezcals and explore local villages. In addition to the cultural immersion, you will also be able to go on volcanic hikes or kayak on the lake.

Our intention is to create an immersive and intimate retreat. There are limited spots available.

Experience fully

We will offer a mix of a sunrise hike, ceremonies, like a fire ceremony and visits to colorful local villages where you will get to visit a Mayan women's weaving co-op.

Yoga Every Day

Retreats create the environment for deep connection to yourself, body, mind and soul. The shifts in perspective and practice often last when you return home.

There are additional massage treatments and services available at extra cost.

Chicago Hot Yoga was born from a simple vision: to create a space where therapeutic yoga is accessible to everyone, regardless of experience, ability, or background.

Founded by Cat in Chicago's Ravenswood neighborhood, our family-owned studio has become a cornerstone of the Lincoln Square community. We know our students by name—you're not just a number here, you're part of our yoga family.

Our mission is to teach students of all abilities, ages, and conditions to create positive change—body, mind, and soul—in a welcoming and supportive space.

We start with the spine.
