In addition to our majestic location which offers panoramic views of three volcanoes and beautiful Lake Atitlan, we have an experienced and friendly staff that will lovingly cater to you and your students needs. Once you’ve reserved space, we will help you prepare for your retreat with our Welcome Kits. We can organize your ground transportation to our center, tours of local villages, Mayan shamanic ceremonies, a fair-trade market with local artists and fabulous spa treatments. We can even help you register your students for an additional charge.

Villa Sumaya partners with its group leaders by putting your retreat’s description on our website, sending monthly newsletters to our mailing list which will highlight your retreat, posting google ads with relevant key search words, and listing our center with many on-line directories.

Our efforts to become a “green” center further enhance your experience. We have solar heated pool and hot tub and solar assisted hot-water for your rooms, vegetable and herb gardens, organic composting and recycling program, as well as a new fruit orchard and food forest in the works. Villa Sumaya uses as many organic products as possible and participate in local efforts to keep our community clean and green.
